Big update, almost finished!


Hello! I haven’t uploaded any updates recently since I had some responsibilities to take care of, but today I bring you a new update for ThrowKnight. I'm happy to announce that the game is almost finished. Since this is my first game, it's a big accomplishment for me.

At the moment, the game is nearly as I planned it. I wish I could have added more bosses and better transitions between each boss arena (like cutscenes), but that's a bit out of my reach for now. That aside, I hope you enjoy this little game! :)


Update Notes:

New:

  • Third Boss (The Orc): Wields a mace and can throw it, just like the player!
  • Options Menu: Added camera customization settings.
  • SFX: Enhanced sound effects in key areas.
  • Story: Added context explaining why the player faces three bosses in a row.

Updated:

  • Mage Boss: New custom sprite for fireball spawners.
  • Map Upgrade: Expanded the mage boss area.
  • Camera Shake: Increased intensity when taking damage.

Planned:

  • Polish: General improvements to the game.
  • Transitions: Simplified but decent transitions will be added.
  • Boss Phases: Working on transitions and phase changes for the second and third bosses.
